"Plank" - a first collaboration with composer DGANIT ELYAKIM.

 

In an abstract acoustic space, a figure is holding a plank.
In the absence of any other human presence, the figure tries to establish some sort of "relations" with the plank, which serves her as an archetypal object. The plank dons on and off different identities and roles, in absolute accordance with the figure and her desires. The enveloping acoustic environment echoes the actions of the figure and provides the impetus for the development of her 'object relationship'.

This work was developed under the influence of the impression of CHARLES RAY'S Plank Pieces (1973).
